The Young Voices Workshop (provided by the Hamptons Documentary Film Festival) invited the Take Two Film Academy to Montauk School for a special in-school workshop with 5th grade. Students participated in a mini-documentary lesson focused on the history of Montauk to learn about and demonstrate how to turn research into a short film. By using stock images, footage, and recorded voice overs from the students, the presenters from Take Two did a live demonstration on how to create and edit a documentary in Final Cut Pro. The workshop also allowed for some students to participate in a live reenactment which was included in the final edit.
